ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
As Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of the financial and accounting management of the IWP Real Estate Group. You’ll play a key role not only in the company’s finances, but also in the Group’s acquisition and development decisions.
TASKS
ACCOUNTING
– Ensure overall control of the company’s accounting function;
– Manage accounting and financial functions;
– Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, summary statements, operating expense adjustments and other reports for the external accountant;
– Ensure good relations with independent auditors;
– Coach and supervise accounting staff;
– Ensure that the company’s financial systems are robust, compliant and support current operations and future growth;
– Monitor tenant capital and fit-out projects;
– Develop accounting policies, procedures and internal control rules;
– Manage leases.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
– At least 5 years’ experience in small business accounting;
– Knowledge of commercial real estate accounting;
– Leadership, autonomy, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
